My Story

My Story

I joined the Army right after high school. Like a lot of young guys, I lacked confidence in my physique especially my arms. Growing up, I always felt like they were too small, and I was not a to big on  how they looked.

One of my favorite toys as a kid was G.I. Joe. In my mind, every soldier looked like those action figures: strong, muscular, and confident. I quickly learned that wasn't reality.

When I arrived at Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson ("Relaxin' Jackson," lol), I was still the same skinny kid with small arms. But something had changed. I was getting stronger every day through running, push-ups, pull-ups, and the physical demands of military life. For the first time, I realized I had the opportunity to become the person I wanted to be.

I didn't just want bigger arms, I also wanted to feel confident every time I put on the Army uniform. I wanted to lead from the front, set the example, and never feel like I was the weakest link.

After graduating from AIT, I reported to my first duty station as a 15Y an AH-64 Armament, Electrical, and Avionic Systems Repairer, AKA - an Apache helicopter electrician. Working on one of the Army's most advanced aircraft taught me discipline, attention to detail, and the importance of doing things the right way. During this time, I became even more committed to improving my physique and building the confidence I had always wanted.

Like many people starting their fitness journey, I made plenty of mistakes. I wasted time on workouts that didn't work, followed bad advice, and had no real plan. I thought I had to figure everything out on my own. Through years of learning, training, and improving, I discovered what actually builds muscle, strength, and confidence.

That's why I created HunterFlowFit.

My mission is to help busy service members build arms that stand out in uniform, get stronger, and gain the confidence that comes from knowing they're putting in the work. Whether you're just starting out or you've been stuck spinning your wheels, I'll help you follow a proven plan so you can stop guessing and start seeing real results.

I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and wish things were different.

I know what it's like to pull on your uniform and wish you filled it out a little more.

And I know what it feels like to finally become the person staring back at you in the mirror.

That's the confidence I want for all service members to experience.
